Ascot Selections & Staking Plan: Wednesday 24th March

Really liked 2 in particularly in this week’s Ascot card but am not currently making them unit plays for a few reasons. Divine Pair was a great bet when Savage One was still in the field I thought and there was some more meat on the bone, but is just a little short now to be diving in despite the fact I still really think he will be winning, even though he is still a maiden. Was also very keen on Holy Ghost in race 8 who is absolutely flying but where he finds himself back in the ruck from barrier 2 given how he flops out is very concerning. This map, when compounded by the fact that Kaptain Kaos 1st up win at Bunbury rated through the roof and maps much more favourably, is enough to deter me from loading up here, will still be on hoping he gets the luck when he needs it but no unit play from me.
