Ally Ewing leads after first round of 2023 Women’s British Open

Ally Ewing of Tupelo, Mississippi is the leader after the first round of the 2023 British Women’s Open. On Thursday at the Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey, England, she is at -4. In the first round, Ewing had five birdies, one eagle and three bogeys. She birdied the third, eighth, 10th, 12th, and 15th holes, eagled the 16th hole, and bogeyed the fifth, 13th, and 14th holes.

Chun’s major titles came at the 2015 United States Women’s Open, 2016 Evian Championship, and 2022 Women’s PGA Championship.Â
