In the 31st of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Tennessee Titans.

Key Off Season Acquisitions

The Titans were one of the busiest teams in the offseason. They acquired five key players via free agency, acquired three players via trade, and changed coaches. The Titans signed wide receiver Calvin Ridley to a four-year deal worth $92 million, offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry III to a four-year contract worth $50 million, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to a three-year deal worth $36 million, running back Tony Pollard to a three-year deal worth $21 million, and linebacker Kenneth Murray of Missouri City, Texas to a two-year deal worth $15.5 million. Via trade, the Titans acquired linebacker Ernest Jones, offensive tackle Leroy Watson, and cornerback J’arious Sneed. Tennessee also replaced head coach Mike Vrabel with new head coach Brian Callahan of Champaign, Illinois. Callahan was the offensive co-ordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals the last five years.

Ridley of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is joining his third team after four seasons in Atlanta (2018 to 2021, and one year with Jacksonville (2023). Last season in Jacksonville, Ridley had 76 catches for 1016 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He missed 2022 for betting on football games.

Cushenberry III of Geismar, Louisiana has played the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining the Tennessee Titans on a four year contract worth $50 million. Awuzie of San Jose, California has previously played four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2017 to 2020), and the last three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals since 2021. In 2023, Awuzie had 57 combined tackles (43 solo tackles and 14 assisted tackles), two tackles for a loss, six pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Pollard of Memphis, Tennessee has spent the last five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, where he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2022, and had a career-high 1007 rushing yards. In 2023, Pollard also had 1005 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, and 55 catches for 311 receiving yards.

Murray of Missouri City, Texas spent four seasons with with the Tennessee Titans. In 2023, he had 107 combined tackles (79 solo tackles and 28 assisted tackles), seven tackles for a loss, four quarterback hits, three sacks, four pass deflections and one interception. The interception came in a 28-24 Chargers win over the Minnesota Vikings on September 24.

Jones was traded to the Titans from the Los Angeles Rams with a sixth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft for a fifth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. A native of Waycross, Georgia, Jones has played the last three seasons with the Rams. This past season he had 145 combined tackles (74 solo tackles and 71 assisted tackles), 14 tackles for a loss, six quarterback hits, six pass deflections, and 4.5 sacks. Jones was on the Rams franchise that won the Super Bowl in 2022. Watson of Snellville, Georgia was traded from the Cleveland Browns for a seventh round pick in the 2024 National Football League Draft.

Sneed was traded to the Titans from the Kansas City Chiefs for a third round draft pick in the 2025 National Football League Draft. In 2023, he had 78 combined tackles (60 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles), five tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, two interceptions for four yards, 14 pass deflections and one fumble recovery. Sneed’s fumble recovery came in a 17-9 Chiefs win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 17. Sneed also won Super Bowls with the Chiefs in 2023 and 2024.

Fantasy Stars

There are no Titans in the top 10 at any fantasy position.

Projected Finish

The major change for the Titans in the offseason came at running back as they saw Derrick Henry leave for Baltimore and brought in Pollard from Dallas. We need to see how Will Levis does for a fill season before making any firm projections. There were some signs of promise in 2023, and will benefit with Callahan as his coach and Ridley’s acquisition. The Titans only won six games last year, and despite the changes, expect another losing season.
