Yealimi Noh of San Francisco, California leads after the third round of the 2026 Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Course in northwest England. In the process, Noh is trying to become the second American to win the British Women’s Open over the last decade. The other was Lilia Vu of Fountain Valley, California at the 2023 Women’s British Open at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey, England.
Noh is currently at seven-under-par after 54 holes. There is currently a five-way tie for second place at -4. There you can find Hae-ran Ryu of Geumjeong-myeon, South Korea, Esther Henseleit of Varela, Germany, Shiho Kuwaki of Okayama, Japan, Lucy Li of Stanford, California and world number two Atthaya Thitikul of Ratchaburi, Thailand. It should be noted that Thitikul has never won a major despite her high ranking. Ryu is seeking her third consecutive women’s major championship after winning the 2026 Women’s PGA Championship and the 2026 Evian Championship. It should be noted that Ryu was the round two leader at -7, but shot a score of three over par on Saturday and has fallen out of the lead.
In the first round, Noh had a score of four-under-par 67. She had five birdies and one bogey. Noh birdied the sixth, ninth, 11th, 14th and 16th holes, and bogeyed the third hole. In the second round, Noh had a score of one-under-par 70. She had four birdies, one double bogey and one bogey. Noh birdied the second, fifth, sixth, and 11th holes, double bogeyed the fourth hole, and bogeyed the 15th hole. In the third round, Noh had a score of two-under-par 69. She had five birdies and three bogeys. Noh birdied the sixth, ninth, 10th, 11th, and 16th holes, and bogeyed the fourth, fifth, and seventh holes.
