Trial Review: Horses You Must Follow From The Trials Over The Past Week 27/8
August 27, 2020
Chris Camilleri has taken a look back over the trials of the past week, reviewing the replays and times to come up with three to follow first up and through their prep.
Mirra Vision – Randwick 25/8/2020
Really liked the way this gelding hit the line late in his second trial this time in over the 1050m, sat back and made up many lengths late under no riding.
When To Bet
Ready to go to the races now and ideally suited to 1100-1200m.
Trial 3 over 1050m : Overall Time 1:02.34 Last 600m 33.39
Quantico – Randwick 25/8/20
This was a highly impressive second trial by the daughter of I Am Invincible, sat last in the trial and made up a heap of ground in the straight under no riding.
When To Bet
Ideally suited to 1200m first up.
Trial 4 over 1050m : Overall Time 1:03.77 Last 600m 34.14
Invincible Ninja – Randwick 25/8/20
This Mark Newnham trained galloper looks to have developed well after getting spelled following her only run last preparation, jumped well to sit just behind the speed and showed a brilliant turn of foot late under minimal riding.
When To Bet
Will break her maiden first up over 1000m-1200m.Â
Trial 7 over 1050m : Overall Time 1:03.68 Last 600m 35.31
