Trial Review: Horses That Caught The Eye At The Trials This Week 25/11

Check out the black booked horses from Tuesday morning’s Warwick Farm trials.

West of Africa

The Archibald 6yo hasn’t won since claiming the Magic Millions Cup back in January but looks to have returned in nice order after finding himself last on the turn and finishing off nicely to record a 4.6L 3r to Whinchat.

Man of Worth

Chris Waller’s European import looks one to keep an eye out for in maiden company after his 0.1L win over 1200m at Warwick Farm. He settled one pair back and did it easy up the straight against horses under a lot more pressure.

Monte Kate

Ex Robert & Luke Price mare recorded an eye-catching 1.4L 793m trial win new to the Baker yard. She settled 1 pair back and showed a quick turn of foot to find the lead by the 150m before cruising away for the win under hands and heels riding. She was a 0.5L winner of a Rosehill trial prior and looks ready to perform 1st up.

Ragga Ragga

The Pride mare looks to have returned in nice order after jumping cleanly but being posted 3-wide on top of a hotly contested speed. She didn’t shirk her task at any stage going to the line under a lot less pressure than Stallone and Terra Mater with much lighter jockeys on board. She finished 1.7L 3rd. I’ll be keen to be with her if she can find a track with some give in it early in her prep.
