January 16, 2026
Check out all the runners that have been black booked from 20+ trials run at Sydney this week across Rosehill and Kensington.
Apocalyptic
The G1 Fight Stakes winner returned with an impressive 2nd at over 850m at Kensington on Thursday. She was last out of the gates and had to circle the field on the turn before making great ground down the outside under a tight hold from Berry to finish 0.1L 2nd to Shangri La Boy and comfortably beating the likes of Autumn Glow, Wodeton and Sir Delius at similar stages of their prep. She looks to have returned in great order and is one to follow through the autumn.Â

Bryant
The Ron Quinton 3yo looks ready to break through in maiden company after going back from the wide gate and beginning a wide run before the turn. He showed a terrific turn of foot without being under much pressure to storm down the outside to claim a 0.5L x 1.6L victory.Â

The unraced Waterhouse/Bott 3yo looks one to look out for on debut after settling 2nd and showing a terrific turn of foot when shaken up at the 200m to charge away for a dominant 4.7L victory. A midweek Sydney maiden looks well within his grasp.
Nafanua
The Baker filly was arguably the most impressive trialler of the morning at Rosehill on Tuesday going straight to the front and streaking away for a big 5.3L victory in slick time. She was narrowly beaten at Nowra on debuted and looks to have come back in improved order.Â
