It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from week 8. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker.
Quarterback–Jordan Love
The Green Bay Packers starting quarterback from Bakersfield, California completed 29 of 37 passes for 360 passing yards, and three touchdowns in a 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. There are some serious concerns with the Pittsburgh defense at the moment. They were also torched by the Cincinnati Bengals in week seven.Â
Running back–Jonathan Taylor
Could Jonathan Taylor be NFL MVP? Well, he is the MVP on my fantasy team. In Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans, Taylor had 12 rushes for 153 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with two catches for 21 receiving yards and another major score in a 38-14 Indianapolis win. The Colts have the best record in the NFL at 7-1.
Wide Receiver–Troy Franklin
I hope you did not make the same mistake I did. This past week, I picked up Franklin off waivers, and benched him for Wan’Dale Robinson! Franklin was tremendous for Denver on Sunday as he had six catches for 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a 44-24 Broncos win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Tight End–Tucker Kraft
Love’s number one target on Sunday was tight end Tucker Kraft of Timber Lake, South Dakota. Kraft had seven catches for 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kicker–Chris Boswell
It was a tough night for the Steelers, but great night for Chris Boswell, the Steelers kicker. He made four field goals (three from 50+ yards) and one convert.
