Top players at every fantasy position in week 6 of 2025 NFL season

It is now time to take a look at the top fantasy player at every fantasy position from week 6. We are featuring one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, one tight end and one kicker.

Quarterback–Patrick Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback from Tyler, Texas had the best performance he has had this season. The three-time Super Bowl MVP was sensational Sunday night in a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions. Mahomes completed 22 of 30 passes for 257 passing yards and three touchdowns, along with 10 rushes for 32 rushing yards and another major score. Mahomes’s 37.48 fantasy points were a season high.

Running Back–Rico Dowdle

It appears that Chuba Hubbard’s return as the Carolina Panthers’s starting running back when he returns from his calf injury is in jeopardy. That is because Rico Dowdle of Asheville, North Carolina, has been great. On Sunday, he had 30 rushes for 183 rushing yards (after running for 206 yards a week ago against the Miami Dolphins) and four catches for 56 receiving yards and one touchdown in a 30-27 Panthers win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Wide Receiver–George Pickens

The native of Hoover, Alabama was tremendous on Sunday for Dallas and has filled the void while CeeDee Lamb is out with a high ankle sprain. In Dallas’s loss to the Panthers, Pickens had nine catches for 168 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Tight End–Dallas Goedert

As a team, the Philadelphia Eagles were awful on Thursday night in a 34-17 upset loss to the New York Giants. One spark plug for the Eagles was tight end Dallas Goedert of Britton, South Dakota, who had nine catches for 110 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Kicker–Eddy Pineiro

The San Francisco 49ers lost 30-19 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. However, it was a strong game for San Francisco kicker Eddy Pineiro of Miami, Florida. Pineiro made four field goals and four converts. Two of the field goals were for 52 and 54 yards.
