Top five rookies from week two of 2025 NFL season

Week two of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams. Two kickers have made the top five this week.

5) Tre’ Harris

The Chargers second round pick had two catches for 34 receiving yards on Monday in a 20-9 Chargers win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Harris was selected 55th overall by the Chargers in the 2025 NFL Draft out of the University of Mississippi.

4) Andy Borregales

The Patriots rookie kicker from Caracas, Venezuela made field goals from 22 and 53 yards on Sunday in a 33-27 New England win over the Miami Dolphins. It was a good rebound for Borregales, as he missed two convert attempts in the first quarter. Borregales was the Patriots’s sixth round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of the University of Miami.

3) Tyler Warren

For the second straight week, the native of Mechanicsville, Virginia cracks the top five. After being fourth in week one, the Colts rookie tight end is third in week two. He made four catches for 79 receiving yards in a 29-28 Colts win over the Denver Broncos.

2) Tory Horton

The native of Fresno, California had two catches for 32 yards and one touchdown in a 31-17 Seahawks upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The fifth round pick out of Colorado State opened the scoring with a 21 yard touchdown catch from new Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold. 

1) Tyler Loop

With Justin Tucker being released by the Ravens, Baltimore drafted Tyler Loop of Lucas, Texas in the sixth round, 186th overall, out of the University of Arizona. On Sunday, Loop delivered as he made field goals from 43 and 32 yards and all five converts in a 41-17 Baltimore win over the Cleveland Browns.
