Top five rookies from Week Seven of the 2022 NFL Season

The seventh week of the National Football League showcased some outstanding performances from rookies. Let’s take a look at the top five offensive first-year players on winning teams.

5) Peyton Hendershot–Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys rookie tight end from the University of Indiana caught his first NFL touchdown on Sunday in a 24-6 Dallas win over the Detroit Lions. Hendershot caught a two-yard pass from Dak Prescott with one minute and 55 seconds left in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring. He had two catches for five yards.

4) Brian Robinson Jr.–Washington Commanders

We profiled Brian Robinson Jr. over a week ago in the Washington Commanders win over the Chicago Bears. This past weekend Robinson Jr. continued to be effective even though he did not find the end zone. He had 73 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards for 91 total yards in a 23-21 Washington win over the Green Bay Packers.
