Top five rookies from Week Eight of the 2022 NFL Season

The eighth week of the 2022 National Football League regular season is all wrapped up. Here were the top five offensive rookies from winning teams.
5) James Cook–Buffalo Bills
James Cook of Miami, Florida, the first-year running back out of Georgia delivered with a solid performance on Sunday in a 27-17 Buffalo Bills win over the Green Bay Packers in Sunday night primetime. He five rushes for 35 yards and one catch for a career-high 41 receiving yards. With the win, the Bills improve to a record of six wins and one loss, and lead the AFC East.

The rookie tight end out of UCLA had his first ever NFL start on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London, England and made the most out of his opportunity. The native of Glendale, California had four catches for 87 yards as the Broncos defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17.
3) Kenneth Walker III–Seattle Seahawks
The rookie running back out of Michigan State continues to run age a high level with the injury to Rashaad Penny. On Sunday, Walker III had 18 catches for 51 yards and one touchdown, along with one receiving yard from one catch in a 27-13 Seattle Seahawks win over the New York Giants. Walker’s touchdown was for 16 yards with five minutes and 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring. With the win, the Seahawks lead the NFC West at five wins and there losses.

2) Isaiah Likely–Baltimore Ravens-
The Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end out of Coastal Carolina had six catches for 77 yards and one touchdown as the Ravens defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-22 on Thursday night. The touchdown was a 10-yard catch from Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and put the Ravens up 16-10 at the time. It came with 12 seconds left in the first half, and give Baltimore a lead they would not relinquish. With the win, the Ravens lead the AFC North at five wins and three losses.
1) Tyler Allgeier–Atlanta Falcons–
The Atlanta Falcons rookie running back out of Brigham Young University has stepped in well with Cordarelle Patterson out with a knee injury. On Sunday, the native of Fontana, California had 14 rushes for 39 yards, and three catches for a career-high 46 yards and a touchdown catch from Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota in a 37-34 Atlanta overtime win over the Carolina Panthers. With the win, the Falcons lead the NFC West at four wins and four losses.
