Week seven of the 2025 National Football League regular season is now complete. Here are the top five rookies on winning teams. In an interesting statistic, two of the five players this week are tight ends.
5) Brashard Smith
The Kansas City Chiefs delivered their first shutout in almost a decade on Sunday. Offensively, their rookie running back out of the University of Miami got into the act. In a 31-0 Chiefs win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Brashard Smith of Richmond Heights, Florida had 81 total yards (39 rushing yards and 42 receiving yards).
4) Terrance Ferguson
The tight end from Littleton, Colorado was the Los Angeles Rams’s second round pick, 46th overall out of Oregon. On Sunday, Ferguson led the Rams to a 35-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at London’s Wembley Stadium. Ferguson had his first career touchdown catch. It was 31 yards from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
3) Tyler Warren
The tight end from Mechanicsville, Virginia was the Indianapolis Colts’s first round pick, 14th overall, out of Penn State. On Sunday, Warren had four catches for 69 receiving yards and one touchdown in a 38-24 Colts win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Warren’s touchdown catch was for five yards from Daniel Jones.
2) Kyle Monangai
The running back from Roseland, New Jersey was the Chicago Bears’s seventh round pick, 233rd overall, out of Rutgers. On Sunday, Kyle Monangai helped the Bears beat the New Orleans Saints for the first time in 17 years. He had 13 rushes for 81 rushing yards and one touchdown, along with two catches for 13 receiving yards in a 26-14 Bears win. Monangai’s touchdown was the first of his career. It was for one yard and put the Bears up 20-0.
1) Quinshon Judkins
The native of Montgomery, Alabama could be the early favourite to be the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Ohio State product was amazing on Sunday, as he had 25 rushes for 84 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a dominant 31-6 Browns win over the Miami Dolphins.
