November 30, 2022
We are now a dozen weeks into the 2022 National Football League regular season. Here are the top five offensive rookies on winning teams from one of the signature weekends of the NFL season–American Thanksgiving.
5) Zonovan Knight–New York Jets
The Jets rookie running back could see significant more playing time with Michael Carter dealing with an ankle sprain. In his very first NFL game on Sunday, Knight had 14 rushes for 69 yards and three catches for 34 yards as the New York Jets defeated the Chicago Bears 31-10. With the win, the Jets improve to 7-4 and hold the seventh seed in the AFC.

The Steelers rookie quarterback from Oakhurst, New Jersey won his third NFL game on Monday night as Pittsburgh defeated Indianapolis 24-17. He completed 20 of 28 passes for 174 yards and had six rushes for 32 yards.
3) Isiah Pacheco–Kansas City Chiefs
There is no doubt that Isiah Pacheco has passed Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Kansas City’s running back depth chart. On Sunday, Pacheco had 22 rushes for 69 yards and one catch for 17 yards in a 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Pacheco’s touchdown was on a three-yard rush in the third quarter. It was Pacheco’s second NFL touchdown and first since week one when Kansas City beat Arizona 44-21.

The native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama who had his NFL debut delayed because he was shot in the knee in August, had 18 rushes for 105 yards, and two catches for 20 yards in a 19-13 Washington win over Atlanta. One of Robinson’s two catches was a 14-yard touchdown catch from Taylor Heinicke which put Washington up 7-3 at the time. It was Robinson Jr.’s first NFL touchdown catch.
1) Garrett Wilson–New York Jets
The 10th overall pick of the NFL Draft exemplified outstanding chemistry with Jets quarterback Mike White on Sunday. He caught five passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns. The touchdown catches were for eight yards and 54 yards.
