Thoughts

This mare has hit the ground running since moving to the Danny Williams stable this preparation.

She was impressive when winning first up at Goulburn over this distance then was beaten 1.1L at Kensington over 1250m her next start where she found the line nicely before peaking on her run at the 100m mark.

The drop back to 1000m suits as her two wins have come at this trip and the 4kg claim means she only carries 51.5kg on a very soft track.

Race 4: Lightly Sparkled

Thoughts

This filly showed she had ability when first up last preparation where she finished 4th 2.4L behind Quartz Legend at Kembla.

She then ran a credible 2nd (beaten 0.4L) at Newcastle on a soft track.

It looks as if she will be knocking on the door quickly this preparation and she looked as if she needed a little time to strengthen last time preparation and she has now had that so we’re happy to be with her.

Thoughts

The Maher stable have placed this filly perfectly as she drops back in grade from 2 decent runs on the Kensington track at Randwick.

Her runs in city grade have been credible and she meets much easier opposition here so we’re keen to be with her.
