Titans trade offensive lineman Isaiah Wilson to Dolphins

According to Grant Gordon of nfl.com on Monday, the Tennessee Titans have traded offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson of Brooklyn, New York to the Miami Dolphins. In return, the Titans will receive a seventh-round draft pick in the 2021 National Football League Draft, and the Dolphins will also receive a seventh-round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Wilson is best known for being the Titans first-round draft pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The best known Dolphins player from the 2020 NFL Draft is left-handed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, who was selected fifth overall by the Dolphins out of the University of Alabama. The Dolphins also selected offensive tackle Austin Jackson of Sacramento, California with the 18th overall pick out of the University of Southern California.
Despite being selected in the first round by the Titans, Wilson only played one game for Tennessee in 2020, and that was in a 45-26 Titans win over the Indianapolis Colts on November 29. Off the field, Wilson had a troubled season. In September, he was arrested for driving under the influence according to Turron Davenport of ESPN, and then was suspended in December for violating team rules. Then last month Wilson tweeted that he was done playing for the Titans, and had no further comment.
A product of the University of Georgia, Wilson, and Jackson were two of six offensive tackles selected in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The other four were Andrew Thomas of the New York Giants (fourth overall, and like Wilson played for the Bulldogs), Jedrick Wills of the Cleveland Browns (10th overall, and like Jackson, from the University of Alabama), Mekhi Becton of the New York Jets (11th overall from the University of Louisville), and Tristan Wirfs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13th overall from the University of Iowa).
