Three home teams win in NBA playoffs on Tuesday

The NBA Playoffs resumed on Tuesday evening. and we saw three home teams come away with convincing victories by a combined total of 44 points. The Boston Celtics took a two games to none series lead with a 119-106 win over the Atlanta Hawks at Toronto Dominion Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Cleveland Cavaliers tied their series at one game apiece with a 107-90 win over the New York Knicks at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Phoenix Suns tied their series at one game apiece with a 123-109 win over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Boston, Cleveland and Phoenix built large leads during their game twos. Boston had a 82-62 lead with four minutes and 51 seconds left in the third quarter. Cleveland had a 66-41 lead two minutes into the third quarter. Meanwhile, the Suns dominated the fourth quarter as they only gave up 22 points to the Clippers in a 14-point victory.
The Celtics were led offensively by small forward Jayson Tatum of St. Louis, Missouri, who had 29 points. He also was strong defensively too as he had 10 boards, all of the defensive variety.
Cleveland’s leading scorer was point guard Darius Garland of Gary, Indiana, who had 32 points. Meanwhile, the top Suns scorer was Devin Booker of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who had 38 points.
It was a much better game two for Suns star point guard Chris Paul of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After only scoring seven points in game one in a 115-110 Clippers win, Paul bounced back with 16 points on Tuesday.
