Ipswich Race 1

Finished 2nd 0.1L last start at Gold Coast, raced three wide. Tongue tie on first time and stepped up in trip. That effort rated well for this. Draws a tricky gate but maps well with the speed to offset it and settle on the speed. Good jockey booking along with the 3kg claim. Value.

Ipswich Race 5

1.25u Drop The Pilot $6

Has solid form around the mile from with 2 solid efforts last prep. Second-up he won by 3.5L at Toowoomba, checked at the 1400m and eased down on the line, still managing to record an excellent rating. He then backed that effort up finoshing 7th 7.1L after travelling wide the trip. He then went to the paddock and has resumed with 2 huge efforts over the 1200m at Toowoomba putting up excellent last 600m splits. Showed good in his win over the mile.

Ipswich Race 7

1.25u Khaalis $6

Southern Stock clearly the one to beat here but is stepping up in trip and doesn’t have any outstanding late splits. Khaalis had the blinkers put on first time two back. He ran 6th against much tougher opposition on the kenso two back in quickish time but was taken back from the draw and hit the line well. He then came up to Doomben dropped in class and won well. He hit the line very well on the back of a decent speed. Has more upside. Draws well and could stalk the favourite.
