Wants the added trip here. Has been running excellent L600 splits over the 1400 and 1550 in his last 2 starts. Has found up against a pretty ordinary BM62 here and doesn’t need any spectacular rating to win. Small field suits.

Resuming on the back of 3 trials with the most recent a win at Grafton. Best form over this trip with blinkers on. They were put back on 2 starts back prior to the spell. Ran 6th over 1400m on the Kenso, unsuitable distance. Then ran 4th 1L at Doomben over 1200m in fast time. Has the speed to cover the draw with the blinkers on.

Returned from a let-up with a big win over the 1400m at Gold Coast. Held up on straightening, game in the finish. Time was ok but on the back of a slow tempo. 2 back another big effort at Newcastle over the 1400m. Made solid ground behind a slow speed to finish 5th 2.2L. Draws a  gate to get a solid run-in transit.
