According to Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports on Wednesday, the Houston Texans have signed linebacker Devin White of Springhill, Louisiana to a contract. The financial terms of the contract and length of the deal were not disclosed at this time.

However, he was released by the Eagles on October 8 without playing a single game. Last season with the Buccaneers, White had 83 combined tackles (49 solo tackles and 34 solo tackles), five tackles for a loss, nine quarterback hits, two interceptions for 36 yards, six pass deflections and two and a half sacks.

White was also part of the Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl LV. In a 31-9 Buccaneers win over the Kansas City Chiefs, White was exceptional. He had 12 combined tackles (eight solo tackles and four assisted tackles), an interception and a pass deflection.
