Six NFL offensive linemen who switch teams to begin NFL free agency

National Football League free agency officially began on Wednesday. Over the last two days, five NFL franchises have spent a lot of money committing to six offensive linemen. Let’s take a look at six of these players who have switched teams.
Robert Hunt
A native of Jasper, Texas, Hunt has played the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, before signing a five-year deal worth $100 million with the Carolina Panthers. In his time with Miami, Hunt, who is 6’6″, 330 pounds, had two fumble recoveries. In 2023, he played right guard. Hunt played his college football at the University of Louisiana.
Jonah Jackson
A native of Media, Pennsylvania, Jackson has played the last four seasons with the Detroit Lions and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2022. In 57 games, he has had one solo tackle, and played left guard. Jackson now goes from the east to the west, after signing a three-year deal worth $51 million with the Los Angeles Rams. At 6’4″, 310 pounds, he played his college football at Rutgers University.
Jonah Williams
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Williams has played the last four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals at the tackle position before joining the Arizona Cardinals on a two year deal worth $30 million. Williams is 6’5″, 310 pounds, and played his college football at the University of Alabama.
Damien Lewis
A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, Lewis has played the last four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks before signing a four-year deal worth $53 million with the Panthers. In his time with Seattle, Lewis had two solo tackles. In 2023, he played guard. At 6’2″, 325 pounds, Lewis played his college football at Louisiana State.
Lloyd Cushenberry III
A native of Geismar, Louisiana, Cushenberry III has played the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining the Tennessee Titans on a four year contract worth $50 million. In 57 games, he has one fumble recovery, and played center. Cushenberry III is 6’4″, 315 pounds, and like Lewis, played his college football at Louisiana State.
Jon Runyan Jr.
A native of Houston, Texas, Runyan Jr. has played the last four seasons with the Green Bay Packers before signing a three-year deal worth $30 million with the New York Giants. In 67 games, Runyan Jr. had one fumble recovery, and played guard. Runyan Jr. is 6’4″, 305 pounds and played his college football at Michigan. Runyan Jr.’s father Jon Runyan played 14 NFL seasons from 1996 to 2009 and was a Pro Bowl right tackle wit the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003.
