Liked his debut effort where he placed over the 1200m here. He settled well back behind a very slow speed and hit the line strongly running solid late splits and a good overall rating. He’ll take improvement from that effort and is value at the current quote

Undefeated galloper who relished the mile last start. He was held up until the 200m and showed a brilliant turn of foot when out to run down leader, California Spangle. Most of that field meets again here and Romantic Warrior who beat them home last start should enjoy the 1800m the most. Draw is tricky but speed to cover.
