Midweek Victorian racing heads back to Sandown where the Hillside track plays host to a competitive 8 race card. The track is currently rated a heavy 8 and with cool, wet days ahead we expect the track to still be in that heavy range.

The rail is out 8m for this meeting. When the rail is out this far it generally plays off the fence and into the hands into swoopers. Outside gates and horses set to come to the middle of the track will benefit if this trend continues.
