Midweek Victorian Racing returns to Sandown where the Lakeside track will once again host a competitive 8 race meeting.

The track is currently rated a Good 4. There’s been some drizzle around Melbourne this morning and with the possibility of up to 5mm falling throughout the day this track might get into the Soft 5 range.

The rail is out 9m for this meeting. It’s always an advantage to sit on speed at Lakeside and with the rail moving out even further, betting on backmarkers could prove a very painful practice today.
