I loved what I saw from Unleeshing in her latest trial where the Baker mare settled back in the field and showed a sharp turn of foot to win under minimal pressure. Gate 3 is perfect for her pattern getting back and running on as she has been previously burnt with too much to do from wide gates. She has a 1.1L 2nd to Private Harry in BM company this time last year. Whether she is wound up enough for 1200m 1st up is the query but the early market support suggests she will be.

Value Selection: R1 – United States

United States drops back to maiden company after contesting a red hot 3yo BM72 at Rosehill 2 Saturdays ago. He settled towards the rear and worked home solidly to finish 1.8L 4th behind Plaintiff and Nitro. Plaintiff is going to be hard in the market in the 3yo Magic millions. The outside gate with his pattern is a concern but is still achievable at Warwick Farm with only one turn to navigate from the shoot and a long straight.
