Best Selection: R6- Surf’s Up
I loved what I saw from Surf’s Up at the trials last week. The Waller filly settled at the rear and clocked a fast final 600m to score a 0.1L win in her 1050m Randwick trial. She looked great lengthening stride when J Mac let her go down the outside. The stable clearly have an opinion of her after throwing her in the deep end when finishing midfield and 4.8L off Point Barrow in the G3 Crown Red Roses Stakes at Flemington in the spring. I booking of J Mac is a good indication she is ready to go 1st up.

Value Selection: R1 – She’s Extra
She’s Extra looks overs shooting for 3/3 in the opener. She looked to really come on from her fast Newcastle maiden win after scoring an impressive 3.1L Warwick Farm win on the Heavy last start. That win suggested she was ready for Saturday company so she looks well placed sticking to midweek 2yo fillies grade with the 3kg claim.Â
