Best Selection: R5- Nazwah

The Snowden filly was a big 3.2L winner on debut at Gosford before leading until the 100m and fading at Randwick on Boxing Day in her first career prep. She has since been freshened before returning to the trials and both have been ultra impressive. She was 0.1L 2nd to Saturday’s impressive Rosehill winner Bev’s Nine here at Kensington in her first trial back. She settled in behind her and strode up nicely at the top of the straight before the pair lengthened strides the final 100m to go to the line together with a 1.5L gap back to 3rd. It’s worth noting that she would’ve been giving big weight Bev’s Nine with Sherry in the saddle up against the lightweight Zac Lloyd. She settled midfield and worked to the line just as well as proven Saturday horses Zealously and Whinchat when 1.3L 4th in a 1030m Rosehill trial. She’s been well supported early and looks ready to go 1st up.

Value Selection: R1 – Lipstick

The Godolphin/Waller filly looks ready to break through and over the odds behind her stablemate in the market. She gets the advantage of J Mac in the saddle and race fitness after settling at the rear from the outside gate and working to the line nicely to finish 0.5L 3rd over 1200m at Warwick Farm 1st up.
