She’s the class mare of the field, already a multiple Group 1 winner over 2000m, and her second-up run in the Makybe Diva was excellent after a diabolically run race; she finished off strongly with the equal best late splits. Back to her pet trip, she maps to get an economical run from gate 1, and with natural improvement third-up, she’s clearly one of the hardest to beat.

Value Selection: R3 – Marble Arch

Marble Arch looks the one to beat. She has the class edge (RTG 105), a strong Flemington record, and her sectionals first-up (-2.84 L600) suggest she’s ready to peak second-up. The only query is the map risk from barrier 9, but with her turn of foot, she can overcome it if the race sets up for closers.
