Premier League Week 7 – Previews, Stats & Betting Insights

With matchday 7 of the Premier League upon us, it’s time we give you our preview including stats and betting insights.
West Ham V Manchester United – Saturday 29th 12:30pm (London Stadium)
West Ham is coming into this in top form having won their last two games but Manchester United have a strong record against the Hammers, losing only one of their last 19 EPL matches.
Insights:
- Three out of the last four EPL day matches between these 2 teams have resulted in a draw.
- Four of West Ham’s last six EPL matches as a home underdog have resulted in a draw.
- Romelu Lukaku has scored at least one goal in each of Manchester United’s last three EPL away matches.
TIP: Manchester United
Wolves V Southampton – Saturday 29th 3:00pm (Molineux Stadium)
Wolves have hit the ground running this season which has them unbeaten in four EPL matches and sitting 10th on the table. Southampton are on the other end of the spectrum having lost three of their last five fixtures.
Insights:
- Wolverhampton is undefeated in their last 12 league home matches.
- Southampton has won only one of it’s last 20 EPL matches as an away underdog.
- The ‘Under 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in each of Wolverhampton’s last five EPL matches.
TIP: Wolves -1.0
Arsenal V Watford – Saturday 29th – 3:00pm (Emirates Stadium)
After a slow start to the season, Arsenal has really hit their straps with four straight victories heading into this. Watford was able to win their first four games but after a loss to Manchester United and a draw with Fulham they look to have a tough task here. The away team will be buoyed by the fact that they have picked up three victories in their last six matches against Arsenal.
Insights:
- Arsenal has won each of their last 21 EPL day matches as home favourites.
- The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in four of Watford’s last five EPL matches.
- Aubameyang has scored at least one goal in 6 of his previous 7 EPL starts with Arsenal as home favourite.
TIP: Watford +1.0
Everton V Fulham – Saturday 29th 3:00pm (Goodison Park)
Everton has been struggling for form as of late, losing four straight EPL matches but having won seven of their last nine EPL matches against Fulham they will be confident. Fulham Haven’t really found form this season with only one win next to their name.
Insights:
- Everton has won each of their last 21 league home matches against Fulham.
- The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in seven of Everton’s last eight EPL matches.
- Aleksander Mitrovic has scored 17 goals in his last 23 league appearances for Fulham.
TIP: Everton
Huddersfield V Tottenham – Saturday 29th 3:00pm (John Smith’s Stadium)
Huddersfield Town is one of three EPL teams yet to record a win this season and if last season is anything to go by they won’t be changing that here. Huddersfield lost both EPL matches against the Spurs last season, scoring none and conceding six. Spurs go into this match having returned to winning ways with a victory against Brighton last time out.
Insights:
- Huddersfield has lost four of their last five EPL home matches to nil.
- The ‘Both Teams To Score’ market has hit in each of Huddersfield’s last eight EPL home matches.
- Harry Kane has been the first-goalscorer in three of Tottenham’s last six EPL away matches.
TIP: Tottenham -1.0
Manchester City V Brighton – Saturday 29th 3:00pm (Etihad Stadium)
Manchester City remain unbeaten heading into this and after winning both EPL games against Brighton last season it looks as if they will continue their winning ways here. Brighton haven’t won in four EPL games but their last victory came against Manchester United so they are capable on their day.
Insights:
- Manchester City has won 14 of their last 15 EPL day matches as as home favourite.
- Manchester City has kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven EPL day matches.
- Brighton has trailed 1-0 at half-time in each of their last four EPL matches.
TIP: Brighton +2.0
Newcastle V Leicester – Saturday 29th 3:00pm ( St. James’ Park)
Newcastle comes into this without a win last season and having lost their last two home matches against Leicester it looks a tough assignment here. Leicester have started the season in solid form with three victories from their first six matches.
Insights:
- Leicester has won four of their last five EPL matches against Newcastle United.
- Newcastle has lost each of their last three EPL home matches by a scoreline of 2-1.
- James Maddison has scored a goal in each of Leicester’s last two EPL matches.
TIP: Leicester
Chelsea V Liverpool – Saturday 29th 5:30pm (Stamford Bridge)
This is by far the best game of the season thus far with both teams unbeaten heading into this. Chelsea were disappointing against West Ham last week whereas, Liverpool couldnt be any more impressive when defeating Southampton 3-0.
Insights:
- Liverpool has won each of their last six EPL night matches to nil.
- Liverpool has led 1-0 at half-time in four of their last five EPL night matches.
- Roberto Firmino has scored a goal in each of Liverpool’s last two EPL away matches.
TIP: Liverpool
Cardiff V Burnley – Sunday 30th 4:00pm (Cardiff City Stadium)
Burnley head into this match on the back of their first victory where they were impressive defeating Bournemouth 4-0. Cardiff is yet to record their first victory this season but they remain unbeaten in 13 matches across all competitions against Burnley.
Insights:
- The ‘Over 4.5 Goals’ market has hit in each of Cardiff’s last three EPL matches.
- Burnley has won each of their last three EPL matches as an away underdog following a win.
- Burnley has lost the second half in three of their last four EPL away matches.
TIP: Cardiff
Bournemouth V Crystal Palace – Monday 1st 8:00pm (Vitality Stadium)
Bournemouth were disappointing in their 4-0 loss to Burnley last week and if they’re not careful Crystal Palace could embarrass them again as they will be full of confidence, picking up four points from their last two matches.
Insights:
- Bournemouth has lost five of their last six EPL night matches.
- The ‘Over 2.5 Goals’ market has hit in 11 of Bournemouth’s last 13 EPL matches as favourite.
- Wilfred Zaha has been the last-goalscorer in each of Crystal Palace’s last three EPL away matches.
