A great bounce back day today with over 5u profit. A couple of really tight ones too with JJJ having a shot on the buzzer to cash that bet, as well as Doncic seemingly disinterested in going to OT costing us a fill up. Another tough day ahead but a few in the morning I quite like. Will aim to have plays for the remaining games around 8am.

Raptors vs Heat 3:30am AEST

Just a small bet here. Nurse was running a super tight rotation and FVV benefited playing 40 minutes against the Lakers. I don’t have a great read on whether they just wanted that particular game (which I think is possible) or if Nurse plans to keep it tight from here out. T

he 11 dimes against Lakers came from just 14 potentials so some good shooting was partially to thank for the big number, but 8 is certainly in reach as he looked great with the ball in his hands. They’re a better team than Miami and will be keen to win this one against another East contender so expect them to bring it, as always.

Nuggets vs Thunder 6:00am AEST

He just keeps impressing me. Everything looks so easy for him. It is glaringly obvious he’s worked on his playmaking as he built on what he showed us in the scrimmages (7.9 ast per 36) with 6 dimes (10 potentials) in OKC’s opener. Almost all his minutes lined up with DPOY Rudy, which may have contributed to the extra passes but won’t see anything close to that level of resistance in this one.

He’ll definitely be busy so having a little ‘saver’ bet on his points in case he gets hot and puts the blinkers on.

Pacers vs Wizards 6:00am AEST

Turner was someone I was looking to target heading into the restart as his numbers without Sabonis are great this season averaging 20.4/9.5/1.7 per 36. His opening game couldn’t have gone any better for us as it’s suppressed his line and we can launch here in a phenomenal matchup against the Wizards who have allowed the 6^th most FP to C’s this season.

He looked great in the scrimmages with a per 36 line of 22.8/12.1/2.1. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get lines for him tonight with Brogdon (questionable) & Dipo (doubtful) both on the injury report but we have. He definitely doesn’t need either of them to sit but does get a 1.9% usg bump w/o Brogdon & 0.4% w/o Dipo. I am a little worried about them blowing out the very bad Wizards team on a back to back but should be covering his base line through 3Q.

Nuggets vs Thunder 6:00am AEST
Lakers vs Jazz 11:00am AEST

OKC are a very solid team. Always feel comfortable betting on them. They looked great dismantling Utah in their opener and Chris Paul is aging like a fine wine. On the flip side, the Nuggets got roasted by Miami in their opening game and I’m not sure how they turn things around here as they’ll definitely be without Gary & Barton while Murray is questionable. Malone has been very vocal in saying they are only looking towards the playoffs, so it would shock me if they risked Murray, especially after him saying his hamstring was still hurting in his most recent presser.

I’ve mentioned here & there that I don’t like this Utah team and briefly thought I may have read them wrong after they beat the Pelicans, but after watching Pelicans fall apart again against the Clippers that win for Utah in a game they were outplayed for 3Q, doesn’t mean much to me. Raptors were always going to be a tough matchup for the Lakers and it did highlight a few holes in their side, but look for them to bounce back here strongly.

76ers vs Spurs 10:00am AEST

Tobias is in a really good spot here. With Spurs playing this small line-up, he will have smaller guys on him all night and I imagine they will really look to use his mismatches in the half-court, especially when Embiid is off. He is usually pretty efficient but was 10-29 against the Pacers. He obviously smashes this if he takes anywhere close to that amount of shots. The rebounds should be there and have upside (he was at 11.5 per 36 in the scrimmages) and had 8 in the opener.

Lakers vs Utah 11:00am AEST

I have mentioned above why I like Lakers to win this one and with OKC busting that double keen to get some exposure to them. Lebron’s assist line is 9.5 and I love the over for him as he’s averaging 19.5 potentials so far in the bubble. He will have a game with 15+ dimes soon where the Lakers shooters get hot and this could be it. Happy to play it this way as we get the rebound insurance as well, and he’s got 10 both games so far.
