Brutal setup for Hield here. He’s been better of late, but still stayed under this in 4 of his last 7 games with some favourable matchups. Hield has taken a wild 73.6% of his shots from behind the arc resulting in 73% of his points coming from there but today gets the awful matchup with Utah who frantically chase guys off the 3 point line, giving up the 2nd fewest attempts per game across the league while also holding teams to the 2nd lowest 3p% at just 34.2%. There was a stretch where Hield was locked into playing high 30s but that just isn’t happening anymore, topping out at 33 minutes across his last 8 games. Jazz’s defence is absolutely locked in right now with the best D rating over the last 2 weeks and they are even better at home, with the leagues best 103.6 D rating (2nd Lakers 105.1). Some obvious blowout risk here with an 11.5 point spread.

Another tough setup here. Westbrook obviously can clear this on any given night but this is going to be tough and we are getting an awesome number. We have a huge sample of 338 minutes of Westy without Beal and Bertans for the season and he’s averaging right on this number at 47.6 per 36 minutes. Today however he’s on the b2b and his 3rd game in 4 nights versing a rested Suns team at home. Suns have been very good at home since the break going 7-2 with a 107.3 D rating good for 7th in the league. They’ve given up the 3rd fewest assists and the 8th fewest rebounds since the break and he’s likely got a date with Mikal here in a game that has a 12.5 point spread.
