Our analyst has reviewed the sectional times, ratings & replays from last Saturday’s Rosehill meeting & has placed three horses you must follow below.

Race 5: 1100m – Smashing Eagle

• Race Tempo: Average
• 600m to 400m: 11.28
• 400m to 200m: 10.56
• Final 200m: 10.64

He was always going to find it tough once he bungled the start but those sectionals suggest that if he could’ve sat one pair closer he wins the race with ease.

When To Bet:

1000m-1100m next start

Race 7: 1300m – Griff

• Race Tempo: Fast
• 600m to 400m: 11.28
• 400m to 200m: 11.40
• Final 200m: 11.93

This horse has featured previously and we stated we’d like to bet when he gets to 1400m+ so we’re sticking with him again after this run where he burnt the clock early and stuck on well while doing a few things wrong.

He will be better ridden off the speed.

When To Bet:

Anything around the 1600m mark off a good draw

Race 8 : 1100m – General Salute

• Race Tempo: Average
• 600m to 400m: 11.22
• 400m to 200m: 10.78
• Final 200m: 10.93

We’re really impressed with this horse as not only were the times impressive it was the impeded run and the greeness in the straight that tells us that when this horse gets to 1200m-1400m we will want to be on him

When To Bet:

We will be on him at 1200m but the closer to 1400m the better.
