Our Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Rosehill 20/7

The replays and sectional times have been reviewed from Saturday’s Rosehill meeting and our analyst has found 2 runners to black book from the meeting.

Getafix
The 2yo opener will be a good form race to follow as they ran 0.8 and 0.45 secs quicker than the older horses in the two 1200m later in the day. The O’Shea 2yo worked home nicely down the outside against the wind. His final 600m (35.08) was the fastest of the race but it was the 11.33 second 400-200m before peaking on his run that shows he will be an improver 2nd up.

He looks to have returned in good order after a gelding and will be winning a Saturday race soon.

Iron Man

Produced an outstanding sprint down the outside to win the final race of the day 2nd up off a long spell. His final 600m was 34.69 seconds. I expect him to improve again 3rd up as horses usually digress 2nd up after a long spell.
