The Godolphin 2yo really caught the eye after he settled at the rear in a slowly run race and let down a powerful run down the outside, which no horse really did all day, to finish 2.2L 2nd behind all the way winner Shaggy. He was never going to be able to reel him in as he sprinted home in 33.6. He looks ready to win stepping up to 1200m.Â
Lady Shenandoah
The Waller filly looks to have really matured over the break and looks set for a big autumn. She toyed with her rivals in the Light Fingers winning by 1.1L eased down. She will continue to improve getting out to 1400m+.
