NRL Round 10 Preview: Our Selections & Staking Plan

It’s safe to say we’re on a roll as we currently sit at 19.28 units of profit (74% ROI) since we started in round 8 but we’ll be looking for more with a great round ahead.

Tipping Results (Started In Round 8) :

We’re now at the halfway point of the season and the teams at the top of the ladder have made their intentions clear with some solid victories in recent weeks.

Round 10 is headlined by two top 8 matchups but there is still some interest in the performance of teams such as the Broncos, Dragons & Bulldogs.

Here’s a look at our picks for round 10.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS VS CANBERRA RAIDERS – THURSDAY JULY 16 ,7:50PM, SCG

The Roosters managed to overcome a nightmare trip to North Queensland where their flight was delayed for 2 hours with a dominant 42-16 victory over the Cowboys.

They have the advantage of playing at home this week but how much will the long trip & humidity from last week affect them.

Canberra’s injury concerns have grown even larger ahead of this week’s Grand Final rematch with Josh Hodgson and Bailey Simonsson suffering season-ending injuries in the loss to the Storm.

Canberra has typically responded well to previous defeats over the last 12 months playing to a 6-1 record head-to-head and a 4-1-2 record at the line.

WESTS TIGERS VS BRISBANE BRONCOS – FRIDAY JULY 17, 7:55PM, LEICHARDT OVAL

After a couple of big wins over the Cowboys and Bulldogs, the Tigers suffered back-to-back losses to the Panthers and Rabbitohs to slip to 4-5 for the season.

On the plus side, the Tigers do appear to be returning to full-strength, which likely explains the short odds on offer.

Josh Reynolds is back from his suspension, while Benji Marshall is also set to return to the side.

The Broncos, however, are much worse for wear after captain Alex Glenn suffered a knee injury last week that will cost him the next two months, while Katoni Staggs continues to battle through hamstring problems.

MANLY SEA EAGLES VS PARRAMATTA EELS – SATURDAY JULY 18, 7:35PM, BROOKVALE OVAL

The Sea Eagles were no match for the Dragons last week in what turned out to be a stunning 34-4 loss at Jubilee as the long list of injuries seems to be really taking its toll on the boys from Manly.

The Eels managed a solid victory against the Knights last week and with Mitchell Moses potentially named for a return here Parramatta are strong favourites.

PENRITH PANTHERS VS NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS – SUNDAY JULY 19, 4:05PM, PANTHERS STADIUM

The Panthers have been nothing short of impressive in recent weeks and a return to their home ground to face North Queensland is sure to add more to their game.

To their credit, North Queensland did put up a fight in the early stages, but it’s difficult to have any confidence in the Cowboys here with Valentine Holmes set to miss another game with an ankle injury.
