Nick Blakey is headed to North Melbourne after Zero Hanger reported a trade with Sydney involving seven draft picks, with AFL.com.au yet to lodge the deal at the time of writing.
Zero Hanger‘s Aidan Cellini reported on Tuesday morning that Blakey is a Kangaroos player after North Melbourne and Sydney brokered a trade for the All-Australian defender. The report said more was to come. AFL.com.au had not published a lodge confirmation in its news feed at the time of writing.

How we got here
Blakey nominated North Melbourne after a reported long-term Kangaroos offer earlier in the trade period, with talks described as down to the wire on Monday night by Nine and CODE Sports. Neither club had issued a fresh trade statement beyond the Zero Hanger report when this article was prepared.
What happens next
Official lodge paperwork and club statements usually follow a Zero Hanger or AFL Media done-deal flash. Treat the pick numbers as reported by Zero Hanger until AFL.com.au or the clubs publish the sealed package.
