NFL Week 6 Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan
October 18, 2020
A great week last week as we went 3/4 and to be quite honest, were robbed of a perfect week with a late touchdown from the Steelers in a situation that 9 times out of 10 doesn’t happen. But profit is profit and we roll into week six on a high.

Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings, US Bank Stadium
As suggested last week, the Falcons parted ways with Dan Quinn after an awful start from the Falcons. There can often be a bounce back from a team after a coach is fired and I would expect that to show on the defensive side of the ball for Atlanta. Raheem Morris was the defensive coordinator and will be in charge for the rest of the season.
The Vikings have not been good and the loss of Dalvin Cook is going to be really tough for them. He is such a big part of their offence. The total on this game is just too high in what could be a surprising defensive battle.

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers, Heinz Field
The Browns have got off to a great start at 4-1 but what has perhaps gone under the radar is the teams they have done it against. They have faced some of the best defences in the league so far and still found ways to put up big numbers. They can do so again against a Steelers defence that hasn’t been as good as expected so far.
The Steelers are 4-0 but have played about as easy of a schedule as any team. Don’t get me wrong, the Steelers are a good team but I think people are getting a little carried away with the unbeaten start.
The Browns can finally get the win over the Steelers they have been searching for for so long now.

Washington @ New York Giants, MetLife Stadium
Two pretty miserable teams this season, but one at least has some signs of life. Washington come into this game as underdogs but the defence is stacked with talent and against a quarterback that turns the ball over constantly, they can win this game for Washington.
The Giants sit at 0-5 and have shown little sign that they can turn things around. As already mentioned, Daniel Jones continues to turn the ball over and they can’t cope with that.
Washington are no great team, but they have by far the best unit in this game and that will be the difference.

Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers, Levis Stadium
The 49ers were awful last week, but Jimmy Garoppolo was clearly not healthy and had been rushed back. Another week of recovery from his ankle injury and he should look a lot better.
The Rams have been good, but their overall talent is not as good as the 49ers. This will be a close game but I would not want to be laying points to last season’s NFC champions.
The moneyline is really tempting but I am just sticking to 49ers and the points.

Arizona Cardinals @ Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium
The big news for the Cowboys last week was Dak Prescott’s injury that will see him miss the rest of the season. But the Cowboys have the best back up in the league and Andy Dalton is more than capable of leading this offence full of talent. Throughout his career he has shown that he can play to what is around him and when he had a similar set up in Cincinnatti to what he has now he was a genuine MVP candidate.
The Cardinals have perhaps been a little overrated so far. The pass game has not been great and while Kyler Murray has been superb and can often find other ways to get it done, Dallas are going to put up a lot of points and they will need that passing game.
