Another fantastic week and after being down as much as 19 units we have fought all the way back and into profit. In all my years backing NFL this has easily been the hardest. The uncertainty around coronavirus has made these games so unpredictable but it feels great to be in profit again.
Season so far
  • Profit/Loss: +3.9 units
  • ROI: 2%
  • December: +11.79 units

Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets

The Jets got off the mark! We will have no winless teams in 2020. But whether they can get another is unlikely, for me. They are still that same team that has been so poor all season.

The Browns have been hit by coronavirus and are set to be without their entire starting line up of wide receivers. Against other teams that may be more of a worry but Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are enough to carry them to a win. The line has shifted down with the news but I still want to back Cleveland as they search for a playoff spot.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks

The Rams have shown that they are one of the best teams in the NFC and one upset loss to the Jets doesn’t stop me from believing that. It feels much more likely that they took their eye of the ball and were looking ahead to this game. I really like backing them off the loss as many will be down on them, meaning we could be getting an edge on the line.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Chicago Bears

The Bears are not quite out of the playoffs with a loss here, but it would be very close to it. I really like what Matt Nagy has done over these past few weeks with Mitch Trubisky. He is finally putting hi in a position to succeed. I do think the Bears will win this one, but 8.5 points is just too much in my opinion. I could see them getting tight and maybe even falling behind early here. Take the Jaguars and a big chunk of points.

New York Giants @ Baltimore Ravens

Daniel Jones should play in this one and while he is the best option for the Giants, he is a turnover machine. The Ravens are the sort of defence that can take advantage of that. Take the defence to get on the scoreboard in this one.

  • 0.5 units Baltimore defence/special first touchdown 19.0 with TopSport

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Football Team

Washington are just one win away from wrapping up the NFC East and they can get it done here. I really like where the Panthers are heading but right now they just aren’t there. Washington have continued to improve this season and they almost pulled off a big upset against the Seahawks that would have taken them to five wins in a row.
