Devin Booker has his fourth 50 point game of his career
December 2, 2022
For the fourth time in his National Basketball Association career, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker of Grand Rapids, Michigan registered at least 50 points in a game. On Wednesday, he scored 51 points in a 132-113 win over the Chicago Bulls.
What made Booker’s performance so notable is that he scored 51 points after only three quarters. With the Suns leading the Bulls 106-81 after three quarters, Booker did not play the final quarter.
In 30 minutes and 40 seconds worth of action, Booker also had six assists, four rebounds, one steal, and was a +23. He made 20 of 25 field goals, six of seven three-point attempts and five of six free throws.
Despite having four 50-point games in his career, it was the first time that Booker scored 50 points in a Suns win. He previously had 70 points for the Suns in a 130-120 Phoenix loss to the Boston Celtics on March 24, 2017, 59 points in a 125-92 Phoenix loss to the Utah Jazz on March 25, 2019, and 50 points in a 124-121 Phoenix loss to the Washington Wizards on March 27, 2019.

The Suns are first in the West at 15 wins and six losses. They have the third best record in the NBA. They are only behind the 18-4 Boston Celtics, and the 15-5 Milwaukee Bucks.
