Very surprised Kerr went with Chiozza over Lee yesterday, perhaps it had something to do with it being Chiozza’s birthday which would be a very Kerr thing to do. Bad read nonetheless.

Bucks vs Magic 12:10pm AEST

No Cole OR Harris today which leaves this back court so so thin with Suggs, Hampton, Mulder the only healthy guards. Expect them to play a bit bigger so we might see some Wagner or Ross at the 2 but there should still be more than enough minutes for all 3 of those guards to get theirs. RJ is the one I’m keen on, after an awesome game last time out with 19/5/9 against this same Bucks team. I loved the role he was in, as he’s going to be running things in the second unit and it’s a low line for someone who can fill it up in all 3 categories. Did play all fourth quarter minutes to boost his numbers a bit, but without Harris today he should get involved earlier, and it’s always nice knowing he will get garbage time, especially with a 13 point spread. He had 5.0 minutes of touch time and 14 potential assists so the role is good, even getting talked up by Mosley saying he loved how RJ organised the offence. The only thing I’m worried about here is Mosley not wanting to have Suggs/Hampton overlap much, but it should be fine with 100+ minutes together on the season.

  • RJ Hampton over 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.88 with Topsport – 1 unit
Kings vs 76ers 2:10pm AEST

Reading the tea leaves here as I’m expecting the Metu experiment to be done with. We have outs even if he stays in the starting lineup but I am expecting him to be moved back to the bench today in a much more limited role. We usually see new head coaches go a bit deeper into their rotations as they experiment and give guys a chance so the floor on Metu’s minutes is extremely low if he doesn’t start.

  • Chimezie Metu UNDER 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.74 with B365 – 1.5 units

Staking Plan – 2.5 units out
  • RJ Hampton over 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.88 with Topsport – 1 unit
  • Chimezie Metu UNDER 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.74 with B365 – 1.5 units
