This Knicks team is a bit of a mess right now, and it’s been pretty publicised how much their starting group is struggling. They have a really strong bench with the likes of Rose, Quickley and Burks and we have seen multiple times over the last couple of weeks that RJs minutes aren’t safe, playing under 25 in 3 of the last 5 games. Over the last 7 games, he’s only covered this line once averaging just 10.3 points. The role is still quite good and it’s more about some cold shooting, so there is a chance he comes out hot, crushes this line and ends up playing high 30s, but with the minutes downside, on a road b2b, and against the leagues 6th best defence (4th fewest points to SGs), this number is too good to pass up.

Warriors vs Raptors 12:40pm AEST

No Payton today who’s been playing 15-20 minutes on a nightly basis as the first guard off the bench. Payton wasn’t in the rotation for the first 2 games of the season, where Lee played 29 minutes in both and the next two full games the Warriors played Payton was right down at 6 minutes while Lee was at 28 so I like him to get into the high 20s here, likely as the first guard off the bench when either Poole/Curry sit at the 6 minute mark. This line is set a tick below his season average of 14.4 PRA, but that’s in just 22.5 minutes. Raptors have a lot of size on the wing so I expect they’ll want Lee in the closing group over Poole. Has a 58.4% eFG at home vs 49.1% on the road this season. Raptors D has really slipped with the 30th ranked rating in November.
