He’s been awesome this season and is getting some deserved all star consideration, but it definitely looks like he’s going to be taking a big hit with Klay coming back. Klay got up 18! shots in just 20 minutes (42% usage) in his return which was probably to be expected on Klay day and while he won’t be that aggressive here, there are still big ripple effects. With Klay, Steph and Poole all ahead of him in the pecking order now and Klay likely going to eat a ton of usage in the non Steph minutes, we might see Wiggins go back to a more passive role as we saw earlier in the season. He had just 19 front court touches last game (down from 30.9 on the season) and finished with just a 12.9% usage. It’s a tough matchup today against the Grizz. Also worth noting that Wiggins has a 58.8 eFG% with Draymond on the court vs just 50.0% with him off, largely thanks to a lot of cuts to the rim leading to open dunks.

We snuck away with the win against the Magic team a couple days ago and he exploded yesterday but there are a few things lining up here today against Bey. The first game we bet against the Bucks was because of Cade coming back into the lineup, but that was an excellent matchup for Bey and he took advantage as he went off as he was able to get up 13 3 pointers. Over the last 4 games with Cade back Saddiq is only at an 18.6% usage which is very low for a 19.5 point line and someone who is in the bottom 20% of forwards in efficiency for the season at just 47.5% eFG. He just got hot last night going 5-7 from 3 and 10-14 overall but this is their third game in 4 nights and on a b2b on the road against the good Bulls defence who give up the 3rd fewest 3 pointers in the league. They are 13.5 point dogs.
