Heat vs Pacers 10:10am AEST

Obviously hoping Lowry plays this but I like it either way as more of a fade on the Pacers. They come into this one on the second half of a back to back after playing OT today, and the third game in four nights. Some of these minutes averages through the two games are pretty remarkable with Brogdon leading the team at 42.2, Sabonis at 41.1, Duarte 39.0 and Turner 34.7. It’s only been 2 games but ooft this Pacers D looks bad, with a 122 D Rating through 2 games. Heat matchup quite well and they looked awesome in their opener, largely thanks to what is looking like a big big season for Herro.

Wolves vs Pelicans 11:10am AEST

Feels strange giving up so many points on the Wolves, but here we are. Similar to the Pacers, a rough spot for the Pels on the second leg of a road b2b and their third game in four nights. They have just looked awful to start the season getting blown out in both of their games despite shooting 51% from 3 today, and 42% in their opener. Ingram has been good for them, with 25/7/6 followed by 26/8/8 but this is a tough tough matchup for him against Jaden McDaniels. Have been very impressed with what Finch has done with the Wolves on both sides of the ball, and they have a legit NBA rotation with a nice mix of defence and offence, especially with Beverly coming back in tomorrow. Edwards looks like he’s taken another step forward, and most importantly this team is just full of confidence right now and enjoying themselves. Good spot for the Wolves as the better team, at home, with the rest advantage. Lean on the over here too.
