Messi PSG contract still on the way

Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain is yet to be completed following his emotional press conference in Barcelona on Sunday.

The best player in the world and arguably the best player to grace the planet, was expected to resign with the Catalan club after his contract recently expired.

Messi will leave his boyhood club after 21 years in Barcelona and the Argentine was evidently sobbing when he gave his final press conference to say goodbye.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Messi and PSG are still working out the finer details of his two year contract.

Once the Parisian club and Messi come to an agreement and the contract is signed, the Argentine will make his way over to France to be revealed to fans.

Overnight, supporters flocked to the Parc des Princes as they were under the assumption that Messi was going to be revealed.

Romano added that Messi’s “arrival in Paris” is yet to be planned.

The addition of Messi to the PSG team will be a huge boost for the club as they look to capture their first ever Champions League title which the Argentine has won on four occasions.

Once the deal is complete, Messi will join his fellow countryman in Mauricio Pochettino (head coach) and Angel Di Maria who was part of Argentina’s Copa America winning team.

Stay tuned for more updates.
