The Seattle Seahawks improved their defense on Saturday by acquiring Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams from the New York Jets in a blockbuster trade according to John Boyle of seahawks.com.
In return, the Seahawks had to give up safety Bradley McDougald, a first and third round draft pick in the 2021 National Football League Draft, as well as a first round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Seahawks will also be receiving the Jets fourth round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Adams had a season-high in solo tackles (eight), combined tackles (nine), forced fumbles (two). He also registered a 25-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown, which put the Jets up 20-13 at the time.
