Jeeno Thitikul returns to first in Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings

For the second time in her professional golf career, Jeeno Thitikul is ranked first in the world. The native of Ban Pong District, Thailand was previously ranked number one for two weeks from October 31 to November 13, 2022.
Thitikul moved into number one in the world after performing better than Nelly Korda of the United States at the 2025 AIG Women’s British Open. Thitikul finished in 30th place and Korda was 36th. Thitikul was at +1 and Korda was at +3.
Thitikul is the second player from Thailand to be ranked first in the world in women’s golf. She follows Ariya Jutanugarn of Bangkok, who was first in the world on three occasions. She was there for two weeks from June 12 to June 25, 2017, three weeks from July 30, 2018 to August 19, 2018, and 18 weeks from October 29, 2018 to March 3, 2019. Jutanugarn is a two-time major champion as she won the 2016 Women’s British Open and 2018 United States Women’s Open. Thitikul has reached first in the world without winning a major championship.
When Thitikul was initially ranked first in the world, she was the second youngest female golfer to ever be ranked number one at 19 years, eight months and 11 days. The youngest was Lydia Ko of Auckland, New Zealand, who was ranked 17 years, nine months and nine days in 2015.
Over the past 365 days, Thitikul has won two LPGA events. She won the 2024 CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Florida with a score of -22, and then the 2025 Mizuho Americas Open in Jersey City, New Jersey with a score of -17. Overall, Thitikul has won five LPGA events.
