Heat to honour Dwayne Wade with a statue

According to James Herbert of CBS Sports on Thursday, the Miami Heat will honour Dwyane Wade of Chicago, Illinois with his own statue. The ceremony will take place on October 27, a day before the Heat host the Detroit Pistons. Wade played 15 NBA seasons with the Heat from 2003 to 2016, and from 2017 to 2019.
Wade is the leader in many statistical categories for Miami. He is the Heat all-time leader in games (948), minutes played in a career (32912), field goals in a career (7842), field goal attempts in a career (16227), two point field goals in a career (7361), two point field goal attempts in a career (14568), free throws made in a career (5391), free throws attempted in a career (7048), assists in a career (5310), steals in a career (1492), points in a career (21556), field goals in a season (854 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), field goal attempts in a season (1739 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), two point field goals in a season (766 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), two point field goal attempts in a season (1461 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), free throws made in a season (629 in 2005-06), free throw attempts in a season (803 in 2005-06), steals made in a season (173 in 2008-09), points in a season (2386 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), points per game in a season (30.2 in 2008-09 which led the NBA), steals per game in a season (2.2 in 2008-09).
