Midweek Sydney racing heads to Hawkesbury. Our analyst has selected a Baker 3yo peaking getting to a mile 3rd up and a Lees mare dropping back in grade in the final race of the day as the value play.
Best Selection: R3- Viktor
Viktor gets both map and set up advantage over a lot of his market rivals in this maiden. He gets to the mile peaking 3rd up whilst others arrive 2nd up, which can be testing. He stuck on really solidly when 1.8L 3rd at Kensington last start. He was 1.5L 2nd when 3rd up over a mile at Warwick Farm last prep.

Value Selection: R8- Bestower
Bestower represents great value in the final race of the day. Her 3.9L 5th in the Newcastle Provincial Championships was better than it reads on paper after copping interference and only getting out the last furlong. She has an outstanding 3: 2-1-0 2nd up record. $17 in early markets looks a nice play.
