Port Macquarie Race 2 – Pulitzer Prize
This 4YO Gelding is resuming here from Victoria. Formerly with M Price & M Kent Jnr now Terry Evans. Record is nothing flash, 9 wins for 2 placings all in maiden company. However one placing came whilst fresh and he finished a luckless 5th on his most recent first up effort. He also ran very strong sectionals on both occasions.
Will need some luck from a tricky gate but could show up based off those strong sectional.

Port Macquarie Race 6 – Prince Arli
Consistent type here who always runs well. Has been racing in fine order recently and with excuses his last 3 runs. Prior to his last 2 runs he has been putting in some very quick late sectionals and has shown an adaptable running style which is key for him from the wide gate.
This race has a lot of speed on paper which should suit. If he brings back his form prior to his last two he’ll be sure to run a good race
Port Macquarie Race 6 – Lord Jaysea
Freshened. Last start second behind Paxos Miss over 1300m. Disappointing prior to that in open company but happy to forgive that as he didn’t get any favours. Prior to that he was running on well late without getting in the money with bad barriers and slow tempos the excuses.
Up to 1500 with a nice draw and gets in light here. Tempo looks to be on. With some luck will be there for him if good enough.
