Wednesday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads returns to Caulfield for Group 1 Thousand Guineas day! By far and away the best midweek program we experience all year in Victoria and there’s plenty of talent across the 9 races to get excited about!
The track is currently rated a Soft 5. Victorian’s are set for a cool day with tops of 16 degrees! This track has already seen some rainfall today and with more forecasted we can safely expect a further track downgrade to soft 6-7.
The rail is in the true position for today’s program. With the rail in the true and the rain dropping on race day, expect riders to angle off the inside 2-3 lanes in search for the best ground.
